Eloise's Easter Bouquet

Eloise's Easter Bouquet celebrates family, colour and the beauty of everyday moments.

Named for my sister Eloise, this painting was inspired by blooms gathered for Easter and displayed in her West End home.

As you enter Eloise's home, your eye is immediately drawn to a flower nook in the kitchen, framed by a cheerful yellow wall. It was there these blooms sat during Easter, bringing colour, warmth and a sense of celebration to the heart of the home.

Using bold colour, simplified forms and expressive mark-making, I have transformed the bouquet into a vibrant celebration of connection, memory and place.

The bright blue vase anchors the composition while warm pinks, reds and corals bring energy and movement to the canvas.

Much of my work is inspired by the people I love and the everyday scenes that become part of family history.

Rather than painting flowers exactly as they appear, I use colour and shape to capture the feeling of a moment — in this case, Easter, family, and a beautiful corner of Eloise's West End home.
